“If people can’t see what God is doing,
they stumble all over themselves;
But when they attend to what he reveals,
they are most blessed.”
(Proverbs 29:18)(MSG)-BibleGateway

The sudden realization that Christ’s true name
was never “Jesus”, but rather Jehoshua, has
been shocking to learn.  Some will welcome this
truth, while others will become angry and be
stumbled by it.  How so ?

Humans are creatures of habit, and while some get
bored easily and constantly look for new gadgets
to amuse them, there are many who do not like change.
The Messiah has been called “Jesus” ever since the
Roman’s took over Christianity as a state religion.
That’s a long time.  So much has been said and done
in the name of “Jesus”, that to call him anything but
that – will appear as sacrilege in the eyes of many.

But that doesn’t change the fact that “Jesus” never
was his name.  Christ was never called by that name
while he was alive on this earth.  His Jewish
Apostles never called him that, and the earliest of
Christians never called him that.  It was only the
Greek-speaking apostates, who changed his name to
suit their pagan appetites for a god-man with
3 heads to suit their trinity tradition of pagan
worship.  And along with all these changes, was
a complete destruction of Christ’s Jewish heritage
and his Jewish name – which translates directly
into English as did his Father’s name.

Since Jehovah’s Salvation – called “Jehoshua” is
what Christ wants to be called, we should take his
request very seriously.  It is not a matter of
holding onto tradition, or a matter of pleasing
those who find the erroneous name “Jesus” to be so
dear to their heart.  No, it is a matter of “TRUTH”.
Jehoshua came to the earth to bring mankind back
to truth.  NOT to be molded into a god that mankind
thinks he should be.  Jehoshua was sent by Jehovah
God, to bring mankind back to him.  Christ had an
objective of turning the Israel of God back to
truth again.

The Jews had strayed away from Jehovah and replaced
his name with “LORD”.  They had traded God’s commands
for the “traditions” of men.  Christ condemned them
for doing that.  How much more so will Christ condemn
those who have abandoned his truths, for the pagan
traditions of Christmas and Easter which involve
numerous sun-gods and fertility goddess worship.
But worse yet, the trading of Christ’s true name for
a Graeco-Roman god named “Zeus”.  It is not by sheer
accident that Christ’s name sounds like “G-Zeus”.
It was intended that way.  History books admit that
the Romans intentionally traded the true name of
“Jehoshua” for the “Iesous” (hail zeus) of pagan
origin and pagan appeal.

Rome has never been interested in truth.  Her form of
the gospel was to spread Christianity by brutal force,
which is something that Christ would never have
agreed to.  The Holy Roman Empire used Christ as her
battle cry – to murder, rape, torture, and destroy
the objects of her mass conversions in their newly
created quasi-pagan form of Christianity.

No wonder that Christ predicted that in the last days
that many would cry out to him during Judgment –
“Didn’t we do so many powerful works in your name?”
and he will say in return to them – “Get away from
me – the things you did were not authorized by me –
you workers of evil.”  Not only would they be doing
things that Christ would not approve of – but they
would even be doing them in a name that he never
heard of.

Yes, in the name of their conjured god “Jesus”,
which means to hail-zeus,  they would be doing
bloody horrible deeds and trying to give Christ
the credit for it.  His reaction will be to reject
them, reject their deeds, and reject the unholy name
that they have glued upon him.

So will God’s true people follow in this erroneous
path of calling the Messiah by a most dishonoring
name?  When faced in these last days, with the
importance of using Christ’s true name – will they
be stumbled ?  Those who agree to return to Christ’s
name, Jehoshua, will be marked by God as wheat-like
christians;  while those who refuse to return to
Christ and his true name, will be marked as weed-like
ones that will be uprooted and destroyed in the
coming harvest.  The scriptures testify to this fact.

Just as God’s people returned to Jehovah and returned
to using his Name – so too,  God’s people must
return to the Messiah and his true name.

Will you be stumbled at this ?
I hope not.

heavenly Father, Jehovah God.   Many years
after his death – Rome changed his name to
suit their pagan heritage and to please their
pagan converts.”

eliminated His Jewish name and blended the name
of ‘Zeus’ in order to make it comfortable for
all those who had previously worshipped the Greek

(1 Thessalonians 5:21)

Jehovah’s people have used encyclopedias, secular sources,
and reputable books and documents – to discover the pagan
origins of Christmas, Easter, Hell Fire Torment,  Infant
Baptism, the true origins of the cross as a phallic symbol
of sex worship, the mistranslation of Stauros and Xylon,
the pagan origins of Rosary beads, pagan origins of holy water.

Secular research has also helped Jehovah’s people to recognize
spurious scriptures that were added after the Bible was written.
When noting that the word “trinity” did not exist in the Bible,
God’s people turned to secular sources outside of the Bible to
investigate and find that the trinity and many other unbiblical
doctrines were adopted from the pagans by Rome and engrafted
upon the Christian Faith without any approval by God or his
Holy spirit.  The list goes on and on – with all the many things
that Jehovah’s people have learned from sources outside of the
Bible – in their search of truth.

Therefore we should not be afraid to do research outside of the
Bible.   There are still many other things to be found, by doing so,
that Jehovah’s people have yet to learn.  To stop researching our
Faith would be a big mistake.   If we have “THE TRUTH” than
there is nothing to fear from such investigations.  If anything, our
research should do nothing, except to strengthen our faith and in
some cases to bring us to the realization that some of our views
are outdated or wrong and that gives us the opportunity to investigate
further and update our beliefs and doctrines.

To turn a deaf ear to newly found Truth is not only foolish, but
shows an excess of pride that we are not willing to admit that we
can make mistakes, and do need occasionally adjustments.

Pride is before the fall – but being humble and flexible are valuable
traits in the sight of God.

“Don’t suppress the Spirit,
and don’t stifle those who have
a word from the Master.
 On the
other hand, don’t be gullible.
Check out everything, and keep
only what’s good.”
(1Thess 5:19-22)(MSG)

I was recently told that Jehovah’s people
do not do any research outside of the Bible.
I was also told that it was wrong to do any
research myself – outside of the Bible in
connection with my religious beliefs.

The Boreans were complimented by
Paul for examining the scriptures daily
to make sure that what they were learning
from the apostles, was actually true.
They only had the Old Testament
(Hebrew Scriptures) at that time.
The Boreans were called “Noble” minded
because of their research.

“Now the Berean Jews were of more
noble character than those in Thessalonica,
for they received the message with great
eagerness and examined the Scriptures
every day to see if what Paul said was
(Acts 17:11)(NIV)-BibleGateway

We find in the Dictionary the definition
of “Noble” minded.

Noble-minded people are people who are open,
people who are searching, who don’t assume that
they already know everything. Noble-minded,
yes, but not gullible.”

What part does research play in our belief
system ?  Should we be leery or afraid of
research ?  Is it wrong to research outside
of the Bible in our pursuit of spiritual

There are many things that we have changed in
our belief system because of research done
outside of the Bible.  And what are these ?

There are several good examples.
At one time we celebrated Christmas and
Easter and bowed down before a cross.
We no longer do that due to research done
outside of the Bible.

Many once believed that Jesus died on a cross
because the bible used the word “cross” when
translating “stauros” and “xylon”.  Yet due
to research outside of the Bible, we came
to realize that the word “stake” was a more
accurate translation of those two words that
literally mean “wood”, “tree”, or upright
pole or pale.  We then began to realize that
Christ was impaled on a stake and not crucified
on a cross.  History books outside of the
Bible offered even more support to this evidence.

We did not learn that Christmas and Easter were
pagan holidays from the Bible.  Instead we learned
of their pagan origins and pagan practices by
doing research outside of the Bible.

Hellfire torment is another belief that has been
rejected by Jehovah’s people because of
research done by them in secular sources.

Many Bible use the word “hell” in translating
the word “Gehenna” mentioned in the Bible.
The Bible speaks of Gehenna as a place where
the fire never goes out – a place of eternal torment.
But upon researching the word “Gehenna” we
find that it was a place in Christ’s day where
garbage and refuse was burned.  Even human
bodies of dead  criminals were disposed of
there.  The fires of Gehenna were kept burning
day and night.  Christ used this ‘Gehenna’ as an
analogy of the complete and utter destruction of
the wicked on Judgment Day.

On the other hand we learned about “hades” and
“sheol” which are used in the Bible in conjunction
with burial of the dead.  Through research outside
of the Bible we found that these two words mean
“to cover over” or to “conceal”.

Christ rested in “hades” for 3 days before he was
resurrected.  The faithful man “Job” prayed to die
and go to sheol where he could rest and escape
from his pain.

So we see that our research outside of the Bible
has helped in our understanding of the scriptures.
It helped us to see that the belief in HellFire
Torment came from the pagans and was adopted
by the Roman Church during her days of Apostasy
and quest to rule the world.

There are many other religious beliefs
(too numerous to mention here) that have
been enhanced by doing research outside
of the Bible.   Such research improves
our insight into the Scriptures.

So, yes, research outside of the Bible is very
helpful in helping us to understand the Bible better
and in supporting our unending faith in Jehovah
God .

Also, since “Correctores” were hired by the
Apostate Roman Church in order to rewrite
certain areas of the Bible to support their newly
adopted beliefs, we realize even more so,
our need to do research outside of the Bible
in order to discern those spurious scriptures
that have crept their way into the Bible over
the years.   A good example of this was their
removal of God’s Name “Jehovah” from the
Bible in almost seven thousand places.  Also
their changing the word “Passover” to the
word “Easter” in honor of the Fertility goddess
named “Easter” or “Ashtoreth”.   They even
changed many scriptures to support their
trinity god by making sly changes like
“the son of God” to “God, the son”.

Anyone who has ever read a Watchtower or
Awake magazine is well aware of the fact that
Jehovah’s people do use research outside of the
Bible in writing their articles.  They even quote
the sources of their findings for the whole world
to see.

So the research that we do outside of our Bibles,
in conjunction with a sound mind, and deep respect
for the Bible and for Jehovah, can be of real value
to Christian servants of God.

Some are too PROUD to accept new ideas or new
teachings that did not originate from themselves.
Such Pride is false and can cause them to lose God’s
Favor.   Here is the Bible’s Viewpoint on such Pride
in Comparison to The Humble Heart required to admit
that they were wrong or needed to update their beliefs
and viewpoints.

Too proud to admit need to update your beliefs?
or Humble enough to learn new truths ?

It’s ALL Up to You.

The world is presented with evidence that Jehovah God
Is beginning to reveal New Things of Importance in this
time of the End.

Jehovah has become active and is beginning to relay
messages for his people to hear.  We each individually
have the choice to embrace this NEW information
or to reject it.
We are creatures of free-will just as the Angels are.
How will you react to these messages ?
It’s all completely individual – and up to you.
“..this is what was said through the prophet Joel,
And in the last days, God says,
“I shall pour out some of my spirit
upon every sort of flesh, and your sons
and  your daughters will prophesy
and your young men will see visions
and your old men will dream dreams;
and even upon  men  and upon  women
I will pour out some of my spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.”
(Acts 2:17,18)

“Surely the Lord Jehovah will do nothing,
before  he reveals his secrets unto his servants –
the prophets.”
(Amos 3:7) (ASV)
